Snow Day #2

For those of you that don't live in Canada, you probably think that up here in the north we live in igloos and stuff. Well, after another snow storm yesterday that may seem to be true. Here's a picture I took when I woke up this morning. It's was so bright outside from the reflection of the snow that it distorted the color on my camera.

I thought it'd be safe to go outside after the snow had been removed from most major streets, but I already had trouble getting out my driveway. The snow removal had come by my sidewalk and created a wall of snow which put a barrier around my car. I was too busy shoveling the snow to free my car I forgot to take a picture, but you can see from my neighbor's house that his driveway was blocked too.

Anyway, on with my journey. After lunch we stopped by my friend Jing's house to pick up some stuff, and DAMN I thought I had a lot of snow on my street. This was the snow he had shoveled on this driveway.

I should have stood beside it to see a comparison of how high it was. Here's a picture of his van beside the snow and they were almost the same height.

My driveway is still covered in snow. I was hoping it'll melt on it's own so I won't have to shovel, but I don't think it'll happen anytime soon :(
